Leave adulthood behind and return to childhood in this limited-time, immersive art pop-up. Journey through 17 rooms capturing iconic moments from the playground to the school dance. Along the way, you'll discover tastes, sounds, and even smells that bring you back to the best days of your life.
More than just a series of photo backdrops, The FOMO Factory is designed to truly transport you to another time, introduce you to your inner child, and allow people to engage in the healing process of play.
This interactive pop-up shop celebrates the magic of childhood we often lose as adults, and what it is to feel wonder, awe, and silliness. Using the emerging medium of immersive art, The FOMO Factory envelopes all five senses and invites attendees to shamelessly snap selfies and play like a kid.
Inspired by immersive environments, The FOMO Factory represents a new art form perfectly suited to a generation that venerates the selfie and curates GIFs. Lose yourself in a wall of balloons, spell your name in Scrabble letters, and play with toys in this limited-time pop-up shop that speaks to the child in all of us.
The FOMO Factory includes 17 spaces journeying through childhood memories including birthdays, toys, playgrounds, school dances, vacations, music, and back to school as well as a gift shop.
You can buy tickets on their page, $23 for adults and $18 for concessions (3-17 years). For groups of 10 or more, they provide $3 off every ticket. Finally, there is a VIP package for $125 that includes valet parking, express admission, your own professional photographer, and FOMO swag. They do sell tickets at the door, but they encourage you to purchase tickets ahead of time as tickets frequently sell out in advance.
The FOMO Factory is on the third floor of the Galleria Mall in Houston Texas, 5085 Westheimer Road, Suite 4710. Tip: they are located above the Apple Store.
The Fomo Factory is open 6 days a week, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10 am to 9 pm and on Sundays, 11 am to 7 pm. They are closed on Tuesdays for private events.
